Steffie's Partner Program Terms

Version 2026-11-06. These terms take effect when you submit your application.

These terms are an agreement between you and Steffie's LLC, a Texas limited liability company located at 4140 Directors Row, Suite A, Houston, Texas 77092 ("Steffie's," "we" or "us"). They govern your participation in the Steffie's partner program (the "Program"). Please read them carefully. By applying to the Program, you agree to them.

1. Joining the Program

1.1. To join, you must be at least 18 years old, able to enter into a binding contract, and able to receive payment by direct deposit to a United States bank account in your own name or your business's name.

1.2. We review every application and decide at our sole discretion whether to accept it. Submitting an application does not make you a partner. You become a partner when we confirm your approval by email.

1.3. Steffie's employees, contractors who work on our marketing, and members of their households are not eligible.

2.1. When you are approved, we give you a personal link, a personal follower code (unless we agree that you will use a link only) and a private partner page where you can see your clicks, orders, commissions and payments.

2.2. Your link, code and partner page are for you alone. Do not transfer or sell them. Keep your partner page address private, because anyone who has it can see your results. If you think someone else has it, ask us for a new one and the old one will stop working.

2.3. Your follower code gives a new customer the discount stated in your welcome email on their first eligible order. Only one discount code can be used on an order, and the code cannot be combined with other code-based offers. We may change or end the follower discount with notice to you.

3. How sales are credited to you

3.1. An order is credited to you when it is placed on steffies.com during the Program and either (a) your follower code is used at checkout, or (b) our store platform records that the customer arrived through your link before purchasing.

3.2. If your code is used on an order, the order is credited to you even if the customer also clicked another partner's link. If no partner code is used, the order is credited to the partner whose link our store platform records most recently.

3.3. Tracking depends on technology we do not fully control. Ad blockers, privacy settings, cleared cookies and switching devices can prevent a visit from being recorded. We will credit orders based on our records, and our records are final. We are not responsible for orders that our systems could not attribute to you, although we will look into any order you believe was missed if you tell us within 60 days.

4. Commission

4.1. Your commission rate is stated in your welcome email and on your partner page. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, it is a percentage of the commissionable amount of each credited order.

4.2. The commissionable amount is what the customer actually paid for merchandise after all discounts, and after any refunds, returns and credits. It does not include sales tax, shipping charges, duties, gift card purchases, or Checkout+ and other return or shipping protection.

4.3. The following orders do not earn commission:

4.4. We may change your commission rate for future orders by giving you at least 15 days' notice by email. A change never applies to orders placed before it takes effect.

5. The return window and approval

5.1. Steffie's customers may return items within 30 days of delivery. For that reason, each commission is pending until the return window has closed and any refund has had time to post. A commission is approved 45 days after the order is delivered, or 50 days after it ships if the carrier does not confirm delivery.

5.2. If an order is returned, refunded, credited or charged back while its commission is pending, the commission is reduced or cancelled to match.

5.3. If a refund, credit or chargeback happens after a commission has been approved, or if we later find that a commission was paid in error or arose from prohibited activity, we may deduct the amount from your future commissions.

6. Payment

6.1. We pay approved commissions monthly. On or before the 15th of each month, we pay the commissions that were approved during the previous month, plus or minus any adjustments.

6.2. We pay when your approved balance is at least $25. A smaller balance carries forward to the next month.

6.3. We pay by direct deposit through Gusto, our payroll provider. Before we can pay you, you must complete Gusto's onboarding, including a Form W-9 and your bank account details. We hold payments until onboarding is complete. Steffie's does not collect or store your bank account number or taxpayer identification number; Gusto does, under its own privacy policy.

6.4. You are an independent contractor and are responsible for all taxes on what you earn in the Program. We will issue an IRS Form 1099 where the law requires it. Product we send you at no charge may count as income for tax purposes; please ask your tax advisor.

6.5. Commissions are your only compensation under these terms unless we agree to something else in writing, such as a flat fee for a specific campaign.

7. Disclosing the partnership

7.1. The law requires you to tell your audience that you have a financial relationship with Steffie's. You must clearly and conspicuously disclose the partnership in every post, story, video, article, newsletter or other content that mentions Steffie's or includes your link or code. This applies to gifted product as well as commissions.

7.2. A clear disclosure:

7.3. Share your honest opinion. Only describe your own experience with a product you have actually used. Do not post reviews or ratings of Steffie's products on steffies.com, Google, Amazon or any other review platform or retailer while you are a partner.

7.4. You are responsible for following the Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 C.F.R. Part 255), its rule on consumer reviews and testimonials (16 C.F.R. Part 465), and every platform's rules on branded content.

8. What you may say about Steffie's

8.1. Talk about comfort, design, style, fit, materials and your own experience. You may say that Steffie's was founded by Dr. Steffie Tomson, a neuroscientist, and that our shoes are made with RoamFoam™ cushioning.

8.2. Do not make medical, clinical or health claims about Steffie's products. For example, do not say that Steffie's shoes treat, cure, prevent or relieve any condition (such as plantar fasciitis, bunions, back pain or knee pain), that they are orthopedic or therapeutic, or that they are recommended or endorsed by doctors, podiatrists, hospitals, universities or any other institution, unless we have given you that exact wording in writing.

8.3. If you are a licensed healthcare professional, you may share your personal professional opinion of the shoes, but you must disclose the partnership as described in section 7 and must not present the shoes as medical treatment or as a substitute for professional care.

8.4. Describe our policies accurately. U.S. shipping is free. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. Do not describe returns or exchanges as free, because free return shipping applies only to orders protected by Checkout+.

8.5. Quote prices and promotions accurately and only while they are in effect. Do not invent discounts.

8.6. Do not disparage other brands or people, and do not post content that is unlawful, misleading, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes anyone's rights. Do not present yourself as a Steffie's employee or as speaking for Steffie's.

9. Prohibited promotion

You must not:

10. Using our brand, and our use of your content

10.1. While you are a partner, we give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Steffie's name and the logos, photographs and other materials we provide to you, solely to promote Steffie's under these terms. Do not alter our logos or create your own versions of them. All rights in our trademarks and materials remain ours.

10.2. If we ask you to change or remove content that mentions Steffie's, please do so within 48 hours.

10.3. You keep ownership of the content you create. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to repost, share and quote your content that features Steffie's on our own organic social media accounts, website and emails, with credit to you, during the Program and for 12 months after it ends. We will not use your content, name or likeness in paid advertising without a separate written agreement with you.

10.4. You confirm that your content is original or that you have the rights to everything in it, including music, images and the participation of anyone who appears in it.

11. Gifted product

We may send you product to try. You are not required to post about gifted product unless we agree otherwise in writing. Gifted product is not for resale.

12. Privacy

12.1. We use the information in your application and on your partner page to run the Program, to pay you and to communicate with you. We do not sell it.

12.2. We do not share customers' personal information with partners. Your partner page shows order numbers, dates, amounts and commissions only.

13. Your relationship with Steffie's

You are an independent contractor. Nothing in these terms makes you an employee, agent, joint venturer or partner of Steffie's in any legal sense. You may work with other brands unless we agree otherwise in writing, although we ask that you tell us about partnerships with other footwear brands. You are responsible for your own content, equipment and expenses.

14. Ending the partnership

14.1. You or we may end your partnership at any time, for any reason, by email. We may also pause your partnership while we look into a concern.

14.2. When the partnership ends, your link and code stop working. Commissions on orders placed before the end date continue through the normal approval and payment schedule.

14.3. If we end the partnership because you broke these terms, engaged in fraud, or caused harm to Steffie's reputation, you forfeit commissions that have not yet been paid on orders affected by the breach, and we may recover commissions already paid on those orders.

14.4. Sections 4.3, 5.3, 6.4, 10.3, 10.4, 12, 15, 16 and 17 continue after the partnership ends.

15. Changes to the Program and these terms

We may change the Program or these terms. We will tell you about material changes by email at least 15 days before they take effect, and we will post the current version at partners.steffies.com/terms. If you continue in the Program after a change takes effect, you accept it. If you do not accept a change, you may end your partnership.

16. Liability

16.1. The Program, your link, your partner page and our tracking are provided "as is." We do not promise that they will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that you will earn any particular amount.

16.2. To the fullest extent the law allows, Steffie's will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from the Program. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the Program is limited to the commissions paid or payable to you in the 12 months before the claim arose.

16.3. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Steffie's and its owners, employees and agents from any claim, loss or expense, including reasonable attorneys' fees, that arises from your content, your promotional activity or your breach of these terms.

17. General

17.1. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, each party agrees to try to resolve the dispute in good faith for 30 days after written notice.

17.2. These terms, together with your welcome email and any written campaign agreement, are the entire agreement between you and Steffie's about the Program. If a written campaign agreement conflicts with these terms, the campaign agreement controls for that campaign.

17.3. You may not assign these terms. We may assign them to a successor to our business.

17.4. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

17.5. We send notices to the email address you gave us. Send notices to us by replying to any Program email or by writing to Steffie's LLC at the address above.
